Brufut United has recovered in the 2018-2019 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) second division after slipping to Sporting Real in their previous league fixture.
They scored three excellent goals in the match without Lions of Banjul replying to bounce back in the second tier after losing to table topper Sporting Real in their last league outing.
They thrashed Lions of Banjul 3-0 in the week-six fixture played at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda last Thursday.
Brufut United has now leveled on points with Gunjur United with 8 each. Gunjur drew 1-1 with Latrikunda United at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium and Kiang West also drew 1-1 with Immigration at the Jarra-Soma Mini Stadium.
The Brufut-based club lost to Real De Banjul feeder team 3-1 in the re-scheduled game last Monday before playing against Lions of Banjul, who lose three games in a row.
The draw earned Kiang West 7 points in six league matches and Immigration with 5 points after six league matches.
