Red Hawks Pin down Team Rhino to end a sloppy form in 2nd Tier

Red Hawks, defeated Team Rhino 1-0 at the Serekunda East Mini Stadium to end their sloppy form in the 2018-2019 Second Division league. The Young Red Devils were defeated in their last four league matches before taking on Team Rhino, who beat Serekunda East Bi in their last league outing.

They gripped the maximum points after netting one goal to end their sloppy form in the second tier with 8 points after eight league matches. Team Rhino are still maintaining 10 points after eight league matches.

Steve Biko beat Serekunda East Bi on the same score line at the Independence Stadium in Bakau to bounce back in the second division league after losing to Sporting Real 2-0.

Second Infantry Battalion drew goalless with Immigration at the Jarra-Soma Mini Stadium while Bombada were held to a 2-2 draw by Latrikunda United at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

Waa Banjul thumped Lions of Banjul 2-0 in the all-Banjul derby game played at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium and Gunjur United drew 1-1 with Jambanjelly United in the all-Kombo South derby match played at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda.
