GFF, GRTS Seek to Consolidate Partnership to Promote Domestic Game

According to President Bajo, GFF has made a comeback to renew commitment for a desire to partner for the mutual benefits of the two entities. “GRTS is a potential partner for the promotion of our game and hence you have a wide platform to make the product visible.”

Both the 3rd Vice President Lang Tombong Tamba and Marketing Committee member Musa Sise indulged on GRTS to maximize their bonds of opening up partnership with the GFF for the growth of Gambian football.

“GFF has a vision to develop grassroots football as a stepping stone in order for our country to qualify at international levels,” General Tamba highlighted.

GRTS’ Director General Abdou Touray said the partnership with the GFF has been long standing and thus “this meeting is meant to further cement our relationship in terms of what each of us is expected to do as partners.

” He cited GRTS’s operational hitches in terms of logistics as a nightmare for the state broadcaster and thus compelling them to have inadequate coverage of all national activities.

He however urged the officials of the two institutions to forge a new relationship for a common agreement.
The meeting agreed for both GFF and GRTS to form a technical working group that would come up with plans and modalities to actualize the partnership.
