Liberia international Allen Njie has joined Swiss Super League side Grasshopper Club Zurich until June 2023, but the 19-year-old will play for the club’s under-21 side in the fourth tier.
The Liberian-born Gambian previously played for Liberia’s LISCR, making appearances in the African Champions League and Confederation Cup.
Allen, who made his senior debut for Liberia in the 1-1 draw with DR Congo in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in September 2018, has four caps.
He captained Liberia’s under-20s to a silver medal in the West African Football Union (Wafu) Nations Cup in Monrovia in May 2018.
