The maiden edition of late Alhagie Omar Sey memorial football tournament will begin on June 18, information emanating from the football house in Kanifing stated.
The tournament will attract first division league clubs from first to eight positions for the first edition of the championship. The final is set for June 22.
The championship is organised by Gambia Football Federation (GFF) in the memory of the former vice-chairman of the Normalisation Committee and member of Confederation of African Football (CAF) for his tireless efforts towards the development of football in the Gambia.
