2017-2018 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) defending league champions Gamtel are eyeing to retain their league crown despite their sloppy run in the first round of the league campaign.
The telecommunication giants bagged 20 points in the first round after collecting significant victories in the season.
They will clash to win their matches in the second round and will hope teams above them in the league to slip to retain their last year’s title.
Coach Sulayman Kuyateh and his charges need to stand firm to overcome heavy-weights such as Wallidan, Brikama United, Real De Banjul and Marimoo to retain their league crown.
They must minimize mistakes in the second round to stand any chances of retaining their last year’s league title.
