Waa Banjul have maintained command lead in the 2019 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) second division league after bagging 43 points in Twenty league matches.
The Banjul-based club won majority of their matches and will compete to win their remaining matches in the league to keep their hopes of winning the second-tier title to gain promotion to the top-flight league next season.
Waa Banjul are three points ahead of second-spot and city-rivals Sporting Real, who banged 39 points in seventeen league matches.
Team Rhino are third in the league with 33 points in seventeen league matches and Bombada fourth with 32 points after seventeen league matches.
Waa Banjul battle it out with Bombada football club but the best result for the club was a 1 all draw in a game that was played yesterday. As the two clubs continue to chase their dreams of division one league football next season.
