SUPERSTARS ACADEMY KNOCKED OUT FOR THE KMRFA REGIONAL THIRD DIVISION SEMIS

SUPERSTARS ACADEMY missed out in the ongoing KMRFA semis after losing to FOOTBALL HERO FC by Two goals to nil. Superstars lost the bottom place team who made it to the semis on goal difference.

BK WEST United fc beat SEREKUNDA United fc by 3 goals to 2 who are in the same group so superstars lost propelled Football hero fc to qualify for the semis.

The Academy boys out match football hero fc in every department of the game with several chance to put the game out of reach but where all squandered while Football hero fc just played the second fiddle and sticked to their game plan. The academy boys had their chance which fell to winger Alieu Jallow in the 3rd min , which he missed.

Striker Hamadi Sanyang also had 3 goal opportunities that went begging on the other hand Football hero fc capitalised on the limited opportunities the had and slot in the goals. The goals come in two mins before the break after superstars defence fail to clear their lines.

After the break the academy boys mounted the pressure on but resilient football hero defenders averted all attacks, in the 71st min another chance went begging this time by Pa Abdou which he headed wide from goal.

The other goal cames just as the academy boys where all out to find a equaliser they were ambush to a counter attack resulting in a goal. It ended 2 nil in favour of FOOTBALL HERO .
