MARIMOO FC BRUSH ASIDE WALLIDAN FC AS THEY STATION DOUBLE IN A ROW

Wallidan football fc on thursday 18th April host Marimoo fc at the independence Stadium in Bakau. The game which was adorned with five goals thriller could be one of the most contested game so far.

Both teams previously lost in their encounters and were all out to set the records straight, to get a win from the tie. Wallidan fc suffered a defeat at the hands of Gamtel fc with 2 nil defeat whiles Marimoo lost to the league leaders in a single goal match.

After 10 mins in the game, there was no break through. the first threat come in the 12th mins when marimoo fc threatened with a well taken free kick but papis was equal to the task. Wallidan had a chance in the 16 also but wallidan’s striker Pedro blazed in high.

Game resume and both team sizing each other until in the 56th min when Marimoo Fc toke the lead with a superb goal. Marimoo Fc Got a third goal after 10 mins from the second. some substitution were effected in the 75th mins. wallidan’s Edi Ndao and Jahmiel came in for Pedro and Salim. Bocande was introduced in place for Sawo in the 85th min.

Four minutes of additional time added and Modou Corr is sent off for deliberate hand ball. Wallidan got there second in the game. Marimoo Fc defended their till the end. It finished 3:2 in favour of Marimoo fc.
