PSV WELLINGARA WINS AS THEY STRENGTHEN HOPES OF SURVIVAL

As Matches continue in the Gambia first division domestic league, rock bottom PSV Wellingara gave themselves the much needed boost in their quest to elevate themselves from the relegation zone following a second straight win.

They see off Gambia Ports Authority (GPA) in a 5 goals thriller at the KG5 Mini Stadium in Banjul on saturday 27th of April. PSV Wellingara are still rock bottom with 15 points, 4 points adrift of safety.

GPA on the other hand remain in 7th position with 26 points after 21 games played, 10 points behind league leaders the khaki boys (GAF) who played a game short.

With six more games to be played, PSV Wellingara’s desperate hopes of survival depends on their current running form of winning streak.
