Brikama united fc took on the City Boys Banjul United Fc in the first division domestic league at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama Yesterday the 28th of April 2019.
Brikama United were humiliated by a 3rd tier club GCAA/BIA Fc in the FF CUP, GCAA/BIA Fc beat brikama united on penalty shootouts after a barren stalemate by 6 goals to 5.
Heading into this game Brikama United had their mind set to make amends after the humiliating lost in their last outing. Goals from ADAMA MANNEH and MODOU MANNEH was enough to seal the victory.
Brikama United head to the break with 1 nil up and the second in the 64th min with an unstoppable shot. Modou Manneh overlapped and played one two pass with Lamin Bojang before unleashing a shot that went pass the banjul united goalie, making it a mountain to climb for the visitors.
Avery intriguing match indeed as both team displayed brilliant footballing tactics and maneuvers and individual brilliance. The was game blessed with the flow of the ball from one end to the other but at the end Brikama united showed their dominance .
It ended at the Box Bar Mini Stadium 2:0 in favour of the Satay Baa boys, BRIKAMA UNITED FC.
