Abuko United defeated City Girls 1-0 in the on going 2018-2019 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) women FF cup competition quarter final played at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium to advance to the semi-final.
The lone goal was scored by striker Mam Drammeh in the first half of the match, Abuko United will now rub shoulders with Interior in the semi-final. Armed Forces beat Brikama 2-1 to advance to the semi-final while Interior ruined Future Bi 7-1 to progress to the semi-final.
Red Scorpions hammered Kinteh’s 5-2 to navigate to the semi-final and will now battle it out with Armed Forces in the semi-final. Though both sides are blessed with some good players and with a lot experience gather from the clubs.
