Defending champions Gamtel football club came from behind to settle for a 2 ALL DRAW against Brikama United Fc in the ongoing Gambia football federation division one league in a match that was played on Saturday 4th of May 2019 at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama.
The satayba Club ” Brikama united, “started the match brightly in the early stages of the match and went ahead in the first period through Momodou Bojang know as ” major” with a brilliant finished for Brikama united.
Gamtel football club , responded back with an equaliser in the second part of the Game with two quick goals from quick-feet attacker YAYA NDONG and later BUNJA BADJIE , added a second ahead of Brikama united. The pair netted both goals to make it 2-1.
Brikama united regrouped themselves and mounted pressure to their former gaffer’s side Gamtel football club with some excellent display of football from their attacking players which paid off for them with a goal through Modou Manneh to make it a 2 ALL DRAW affairs .
The results still left Brikama united as second place with a point behind leaders GAF with 38 points.
