League leaders Gambia Armed Forces Fc seems to be blowing up their title’s chances away in the ongoing Gambia football federation league after drawing two times in a row, first against Real De Banjul Fc and then against Fortune Football Club in a game played on Sunday 5th of May 2019 at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama.
Fortune Football Club entertained The Khaki boys at their home ground after seeing off Samger Fc the academy boys in their previous encounter by a single goal. Armed forces Fc settled for a barren stalemate with their arch-rivals Real De Banjul.
Both sides started the match with some entertaining skill works on the ball with a different pattern of football, delivered from both ends as possession was shared equally .
The soldiers are still unbeaten in the league but again failed to come up with a win against Fortune Fc ,a side that has been struggling in their performance compared to their previous seasons.
Fortune Fc are in 7th place with 29 points after 22 games been played Whiles GAF still leads the pack . GAF have won 8 matches and drawn 13 league games After 22 league matches played so far with 38 points. they are now just a single point ahead of brikama united and the 2 points ahead of Real de banjul.
