The south boys Gunjur united thrashed Lions of Banjul by 5 goals to nil in the ongoing Gambia Football Federation Two league football .
The south Boys Gunjur united started the match brightly and put their heads up with 5 goals before the final whistle through Saikou barrow, Nafou Touray commonly called Cristiano Ronaldo, OJ and Uncle all register their names in the scoring sheet for Gunjur United with that big margin over Lions of Banjul who couldn’t even manage with a consolation goal at regulation time.
The results now push Gunjur to 5th position in the table standing with 42 points, won 12 of their league matches, draw 6 and lost 7 out of the 25 matches played for now whiles their opponents Lions of Banjul are on rock bottom with 17 points and manage to won only 4 games, lost 16 matches a record that can easily see off a manager been sack off from his position with such a poor run.
It could be say, lions of Banjul are just playing for fun but it has already confirmed running to third division league football next. As the team suffer seriously on the hands of Gunjur United by 5 goals to Zero in regulation time.
