Brikama united may be one of the most organized team but are not strong financially in the league compared to clubs like real de Banjul, Gamtel and Gaf but they missed the title on a series of Occasion in the league.

They last won the league in 2012 under the leadership of Ensa Sambou and few teams that always stood on their way to the title have been in the most Cases of Real De Banjul, Gamtel and Armed Forces after Wallindan Surrendering their performance in the top summit of the league this season.

A similar Scenario confronts them this season too. Sitting at the top of the table standing of the domestic league with only two games to spared, Brikama United must collected the remaining 6points from those matches to increased their tally to 46points.

But this may not be enough because Armed Forces with 38 points has a game in hand, meaning they have 3 matches and a possible of 9 points to pick which can give them an unquestionable 47 points in other to lift the title. The soldiers only need to win all there three games while Brikama United will be praying for the kaki boys to drop points.

Hawks, Marimoo and Wallindan in 4th ,5th and 6th places respectively. hawks with 34points whiles t Marimoo and Wallindan equal on points of 33 in the league. Though the league, it’s still open for the top three title contenders in the Gambia Football federation Division one league crown. as the season draws to a close down with only two games to spare.
