THE RACE IS FAR FROM OVER IN DIVISION TWO LEAGUE, WAA BANJUL AND TEAM RHINO, CLOSING GAP ON LEADERS

Waa Banjul and team Rhino FC both seal victories in their respective fixtures to close the gap in the Gambia Division Two League Football. Sporting Real and Waa Banjul who cancelled each other in a goalless Affairs in their Week 25 of the domestic second division which got underway this week.

Sporting Real however stays top of the league table with 52 points from a possible 25 matches in the Domestic league football, a point ahead of second place Waa Banjul.

Team Rhino also defeated Steve Biko by a goal to nil, which means they’ve now reduced the gap between them and second place Waa Banjul to just 6 points, with Bombada another 11 points behind following their 1all draw against Jam City united.

The Beach Boys ‘’Steve Biko’’ is at the 9th place, with 35 points, while East-Bi is at relegation position of 14th with 24 points from 25 matches. And With just only few games to the end of the domestic league football with a number of points but the race is really tight. Only two teams will get promotion to the first division football next season.
