The city boys ‘’Banjul United’’ shared spoils with the newly Promoted side Bk Milan in the ongoing Gambia Football Federation Division one league, on Saturday the 1st of June 2019 at the independence stadium in Bakau.
Bk Milan and Banjul United played an entertaining 1-1 draw game in regulation time. The City Boys (Banjul united ) had a tough season in the 2018-19 domestic league football competition.
They won 4 games, draw 13 and lost 7 out of a possible 25 league matches with 26 points. Banjul united are 3 places ahead of tallinding united, relegated Samger and Psv Wellingara.
Whiles for Bk Milan, their target was to finished in the top half of the table standings in their maiden season thus achieving just that with new coach Alhagie Sarr.
Their managed to collect maximum points at the later stages of the season following their poor performance at the beginning of the season. They collected an impressive 32 points and are seated in 8th position in their debut campaign in the summit of Gambia Football top tier.
The experience manager Sarr and his team will be preparing for the title challenge next season. As it ended 1-1 between Bk Milan and Banjul United
