As the Gambia football federation about to bring down it’s curtains on the domestic league over the weekend, Clubs will be playing their last games of the league. We’ve witness nail biting moments at the top of the summit as it turn out to be a three horse race to two.
Tallinding United vs Gamtel fc
Tallinding United will wrangle with the defending champions, the telecom giants ( Gamtel football club ) at the Independence Stadium in Bakau today Saturday 8th June 2019. Stuttering Tallinding United in 12th position of the league standings with just four points above the relegation zone. They will be playing top tier football next season despite the awful performance this season, they’ve been inconsistent but were able to pick-up some vital points along. They manage to record 23 points out of 25 games currently in 12th place.
Tallinding United recorded three draws and two lost in their last five games encounters to that of Gamtel’s two lost, two wins and a draw. The last time these two clubs met, Tallinding united beat Gamtel by 2 goals to nil. They will be hoping to complete a double over Gamtel fc.
The defending Gamtel on the other hand have not showcased their amazing run of form exhibited last year that handed them the league trophy. They are currently in 7th position with 33 points out of 25 games played. They had a very inconsistent season this year most noticeable in the first rounds of the season. They lost to Tallinding United in their first meeting this season and will be hoping to beat Tallinding.
