After losing to Brikama United in the final decider of the Gambia Football Federation Division one league following their 2-1 victory over Gambia Armed Forces on Sunday the 9th of June 2019 at the independence in Bakau.
Speaking to reporters after that heavy tie between Brikama and Gambia Armed forces coach Ebou jarra said ‘’ I feel disappointed and the same time am happy but first we have to congratulate Brikama United, if you can’t beat them you joined them.
We where lacking behind at the beginning of the season. we had a very very poor start in the league where, we were second to last in the table standings and other stuffs.
yes, we are bitterly disappointed but at the same time looking at the season. i believes that Brikama United deserves to win the league and there is nothing to mourned about’’.
The Gambia Armed Forces maintained their unbeaten run till the last part of the league season they start to dropped points Ebou Jarra further explains the reasons behind,’’ As a club we need to sit down and look at so many aspects of football.
I Believe there are so many things that didn’t go right within the club which we have to discuss. the club is ambitious to move forward. the board and every one involves; needs to support the boys this were lacking’’. he concluded.
