After winning the Gambia Football federation division one league, the Saateba Boys ‘’Brikama United ‘’ are now speeding up their preparations ahead of the CAF Continental club championship.
Brikama United Humble La France of Kouba Casamance 5-0 in a friendly match played on Saturday the 15th of June 2019 at the box bar mini stadium in Brikama. However, the friendly serves as a platform for Brikama United ahead of the most task continental club championships in November.
The Saateba Boys ‘’Brikama United ‘’ put five goals passed a shaky defense line of La France of Casamance thanks to a brace from Salifu Bojang, Modou Major Bojang, Modou Manneh and Assan Badjie to seal the victory for the Champions Brikama United in a well Jam park box bar on Saturday.
The visitor La France failed to live up to expectations in both halves with no threats to the back four of Brikama United. Modou Bojang ‘’Major’’ and Modou Manneh who both score in their final match against Gambia Armed Forces were so instrumental in the night asking a lot of questions to the back four of La France before getting each a goal in regulation time. As it ended 5-0 zero in fevour of Brikama United.
