SPORTING REAL AND WAA BANJUL EARNS A PROMOTION BERTH TO DIVISION ONE

It has been quite a wonderful season for Sporting Real and Waa Banjul Football Club.

They all finished brilliantly in the just concluded 2018-19 season division two league football competition.

The duo finished good in both first and second with some good victories along the way.

However, some their closest challengers in the league could not make it to division one league clubs like Team Rhino, Bombada, Gunjur united and Steve Biko all miss promotion to Division one next season.

The two Banjul clubs are tie on head to head with a point of 57 but Waa Banjul Football Club are better on goals score.

Waa Banjul won 17 of their league Games, draw 6 and lost 5 matches in their respective fixtures whiles Sporting real also won 17 league matches, draw 6 and lost 5 games in the season.

The duo will now replace Samger football club and Psv willingara following their dismal campaigning in the Gambia Football federation Division One.

Though such records like this can easily see a manager been sack -off from his role as the boss of the club.

Waa Banjul football club and Sporting real will now test the beauty of the Gambia Football Federation Division One league football next season following an outstanding performance put across in the league.
