Mustapha Njie made his comments following their one all draw between Bombada football Club and Gunjur united in the final Game of the Gambia Football Federation Division two league.

Speaking to logicsport, shortly after the match, Captain Mustapha Njie said,’’ last year throughout the season I was not playing. because we went to Liberia after the CAF game. The tournament did not continue, we sit for the whole year without playing any Major tournament.

And when I returned home to the Gambia, clearance to play seriously affected me. Because sitting for the whole year without playing any major game, and the following year had to wait after almost six to seven Games played before i could start playing again. Getting back my fitness initially was something that was not easy to be honest’’.

When further ask whether that is the main reason that affected his form. ‘’that’s true, it really affects me. Many people were talking about it, like it’s a setback but to me is not bad. Because if you look at Bombada football club, we formed the club, since in the third division league to now, so when , I came back, I find Bombada in the second division league. He concluded
