After missing out on the league Title to Brikama United in the final day of the Gambia Football Federation Division one league football for 2018-19 season, Real de Banjul Have been impressive from started to the end of the league season with such a brilliant performance.
Despite beating Marimoo fc in their final Match of the the season, the victory did not honour them with the league trophy. The all whites ‘’ Real de Banjul’’ completed the season with some impressive points, 45 points out of 26 league matches and a point behind league Champions Brikama United.
The club has now turned their attention to the Gambia Football Federation FF Cup league after defeating Kiang West 2-1 in the Quarter final. The Banjul base Club, stands a chance of lifting the FF Cup trophy following the exit of some of the Big guns in the likes of Brikama United, Gamtel etc.
Real de Banjul is a club, that is well structure financially and also well developed in most of their key departments in the beautiful Game of football most especially striking department notching 27 goals in the league.
The club are now eyeing the Gambia Football Federation FF Cup title crown after losing the league trophy to Brikama united following their win over Gambia Armed Forces. For now they will hoping to exit the 2018/2019 season with the FF CUP.
