The former league Champions Gamtel Football Club will rub Shoulders with Marimoo football club in the late Omar Sey memorial football tournament to be played on Tuesday the 25th of June 2019 at the independence stadium in Bakau.
Both Marimoo and Gamtel football club got off to a slow start in the just concluded domestic league. Gamtel football club finished 5th in the standing with 36points whiles Marimoo Football club seated 7 in the league with a point of 34.
The two clubs will turn their attention to the late Alhagie Omar Sey memorial football tournament. Both clubs made an early exited in the Gambia Football Federation FF CUP Competition ending their campaign without any trophy to their fans.
Marimoo football club are yet to be crown champions since been Promoted to the national division league but the football team has some prolific young lads in their ranks, very promising. Never ruled them out in this competition despite finishing at 7 in the league but still have a chance of winning the late Omar Sey Memorial Football Tournament.
