GAMBIA ARMED FORCES FC SHARE SPOILS WITH MARIMOO FOOTBALL CLUB

After Narrowly beating Brikama United in the opening match of the Late Alhagie Omar Sey Football Tournament on Tuesday by a goal to nil.

The Gambia Armed Forces shared spoils with Marimoo Football Club following their 1 all draw in regulation time in match played on Thursday the 27th of June 2019 at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama. Both sides are yet to be beaten in the tournament with Marimoo football club defeating Gamtel football club by two goals to zero.

Thanks to goals from Ismailia Ceesay and Modou Manneh in enabling them to secure their first 3 points of the tournament. However, it took Marimoo Football Club 27th minutes to break the deadlock but their lead couldn’t last in the entire 90minutes, as Gambia Armed forces recover themselves and score an equaliser before regulation time.

Marimoo football club now top group A with a total of 4 points and 3 goals followed by Gambia Armed Forces on second with 4 points and 2 goals Brikama United on third with 3 points and 3 goals and last is Gamtel football club with zero point after two games played. 1 All the final scores between Gambia Armed Forces and Marimoo Football Club.
