A brace from Ismailia Ceesay was enough for Marimoo football club to secure a place in the final of the late Alhagie Omar Sey football tournament following their victory over Brikama United on Saturday the 29th of June 2019 at Box bar in Brikama.
The tournament was organized by the Gambia football federation for the first Division teams in respect to their Late Boss Alhagie Omar Sey.
The Manji base club ‘’Marimoo ‘’ are unbeaten since the commencement of the tournament and their first triumph was against Gamtel football club before settling for a 1 all draw with the Kaki Boys’’ GAF ‘’.
And now beating Brikama United at home soil, thanks to a double strike from outstanding Ismailia Ceesay of the night to secure Marimoo a place in the final. Marimoo football club finished the just concluded Domestic league at 7th in the table standing with 34 points.
The club will now be eyeing for the late Omar Sey trophy in the final on Saturday at the stadium in Bakau. It ended 2-0 in fevour of Marimoo football club
