THE FOUNDER OF GREATER TOMORROW FOOTBAL ACADEMY BENJIM -HIGHLIGHTS THE PROGRESS OF HIS FOOTBALL ACADEMY

Greater Tomorrow football academy was established in 2008 in west Coast Region Brikama where junior footballers learn the skills and master the technique in order to become world class football stars.

The football academy has ranged some categories from under 7 to 19 and the football academy has produced some high-profile players that passes through greater tomorrow and now making names for themselves the likes of Sainey Bojang, Bun Sanneh and James Gomez with real de Banjul.

In an interview with Logic Sport the founder of the football academy Benjim Ezel said ‘’its all about hard work and determination. we set-up a program before the existence of the football academy. we sit and decided what we going to Achieve in the next five -years. That’s why when you look at the name ‘’greater tomorrow’’ at first time.

when i give the Name ‘’Greater Tomorrow’’ a lot of people doesn’t want to know the meaning of the Name which they failed to understand. If you look closely most of the kids you sow here to today are all stars because I remember about ten years ago.

Many where telling me Benjim, what are you going to do with these small kids. My reply to them is ‘’hey just relax time will tell’’ Basically, I think the time is just about to tell with the name implies’’. The Academy Football has produced some fine players now plying their football outside the Gambia but how it’s like for the founder Benjim Ezel ‘’we are much grateful because you just mention few players.

But I will be proudly strong enough to tell you that, there is a lot that you don’t know but our main objective is to produced quality players that will represent this country the Gambia in many occasions. We want to dominated and be among the people who will create impact in the country and that is our priority. But if we can produce players plying their professional football career in different countries, that will tell you that, we are growing gradually’’. he concluded
