Citizens football Club are through to the next round of the ongoing Qualifiers in Brikama following their 1-0 victory over Stratford football club in a match played on Wednesday the 17th of July 2019 at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama.
Both sides started well creating a lot of goal scoring opportunities in the entire first half but neither any of the striking department was able to break the deadlock in the first period.
Before Citizens football club manage to score one in the second half of the Game and that was the only Goal That separated both sides walking into penalty shot-out following their one -nil victory over a stubborn side of Stratford Football Club in regulation time.
The results now mean that Citizens football Club progress to the next stage of the nawettan Qualifies in Brikama whilst Stratford football club are out of the elimination.
