BRIKAMA UNITED TO FACE WAFU UNDER-23 TEAM IN A FRIENDLY

Ahead of the Caf Club Championship, League winners Brikama United will entertain the Gambia Under 23 team in a friendly match in their preparations ahead of CAF Competition. The friendly Match is Slated for Saturday the 27th of July 2019 at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama at 4-30pm.

The Domestic League Champions, Brikama United settle out a 1 all draw against home town club Greater Tomorrow in their last encounter watch by the Gambia Football Federation President Lamin Kaba Bajo at Brikama. Both Brikama United and the Gambia Under 23 team are all set to represent the country.

The Gambia Under-23 team will be competing in the WAFU championship whiles Brikama united will be challenging in the CAF club championship in the weekend of 9-11 of August 2019 in Banjul.

And ahead of this friendly, Brikama united is improved with the return of Sainey Bojang and Sulayman Saho of Gamtel ahead of the demanding championship for the team. However, this will be the first test match for Coach Omar Sey and his under 23 squad in facing Brikama United ahead of the Wafu Championship to be held in Dakar in September 2019.

Their first meeting will be the Junior Black Stars of Ghana following their last year’s beaten in the final but coach Sey will be hoping for a revenged with an early preparation in the Country.
