The Pub Football Club made history in Gunjur to be the first Club outside Gunjur to win a double trophy last season. The sifoe -outfit defeated rivals Ecomog 2-0 to land the trophy into their hands in league cup.
The double champions will be squared up against knock -out runners Reliance financial services football club in a super cup final slated for the 24th of August 2019, at Gunjur Junior and Senior Secondary School football field. However, this tie promises to be one of its kind looking at the strength of both sides with some good quality players within their ranks.
The Pub won double trophies last season and will be hoping to added another in the super cup against Reliance a team that they narrowly edge out by a goal to nil in the knock out trophy.
On the other hand, Reliance football club will be hoping to commence the season with a good signal by clinching the super cup final but will face a huge task in this tie which signals the kicking started of Nawettan football in Gunjur for 2019-20 season.
