Super cup finalist Jamsen football club were denied all the 3 points deep into added time by Ajax Football club in what was both sides opening Games of the Canon Sponsored Banjul Nawettan football for 2019-20.
The match was played on Friday the 30th of August 2019 at the KG5 Mini stadium in Banjul. The knockout winners had a dream start as they took an early first half lead through talisman Sainey Cole alias Pogba who finish up a fantastic team work and put his side in front in the first half.
From the locker room, the game becomes more intense as both sides fight for the three points but they were wasteful in front of goal.
But it was not until deep into added time when Jamsen thought they had collected the points not knowing that Captain Ousman Badji had other Ideas as he headed home a cross by Kissima Manneh to send Ajax fans and officials into a wild jubilation to make a it a one all draw in regulation time.
Jamsen and Ajax football club shear the top spot in Group B with each having a point after one match in their fixtures. It ended one all between Jamsen and Ajax fc
