Brikama United closed down this year’s Women’s domestic Second Division competition as champions.

Brikama United drew 1-1 at home to Trust Academy on Tuesday 25th July 2023 at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama.

Goal keeper Isatou Ceesay scored from the penalty spot for the home side to equalize the scoring after the visitors earlier broke the deadlock 10 minutes after the start through Arokey Mendy.

As Champions, Brikama United are now promoted to the First tier of women’s football and presented a cheque of D300,000:00 (Three Hundred Thousand Dalasis) with a trophy and medals presided over by GFF Fourth Vice President and Chairperson of Women’s Football Association Ms Sainabou Cham.
