Following a 1-1 draw at regulation time, 2nd Infantry Battalion eventually won the final 4-2 on post match penalty shootouts to become champions of the North Bank Region.

As champions, the 2nd Infantry battalion were awarded a giant trophy, gold medals, and a cheque amounting to D80,000:00 ( Eighty Thousand Dalasis ) while Mayamba Football Academy went home with silver medals and a cheque of D60,000;00 (Sixty Thousand Dalasis) all sponsored by the NBRFA
