Baalor Sarr FC of Faraba produced a stunning comeback to beat Sibanor United 1-4 on post-match shootouts to win the West Coast Region Football Association (WCRFA) Third Division league following a breathtaking 3-3 scoreline at full time in a colourful final presided over by GFF President Mr Lamin Kaba Bajo.

As winners, Baalor Sarr FC went home with a giant trophy, gold medals and a cheque amounting to D75 000:00 (Seventy-five thousand Dalasis ) while Sibanor United were consoled with silver medals and a D50,000:00 ( Fifty thousand Dalasis ) cheque.

As WCRFA League winners, Baalor Sarr will now represent the Region in the second division playoffs later this year for a place in the national League Division Two competition.
