The Gambia U-20 Young Scorpions have arrived in Liberia on Sunday afternoon and are lodged at the Colony Hotel in Monrovia.

The team is scheduled for a friendly international with their Liberian equivalents on Tuesday 10th September before facing a top tier club on the 13th September ahead of the tournament proper.

The team is on a training camp ahead of the tournament opener fully funded by the Gambia Football Federation.

The Gambia U-20 Young Scorpions held their first training session at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Stadium (SKD), Annexe Field in Monrovia Liberia.

The team will set out for day two training session tomorrow morning at 08:00hrs before heading to the SKD to watch the AFCON 2025 qualifier match between Liberia and Algeria.
