Held at the Boulevard Hotel in Monrovia, the workshop brought together head coaches and their assistants with high level resource persons, including Pedro Leitão Brito, the head coach of the Cape Verde Senior National Team, and Amara Traore, former Senegalese international and the current head of the Senegalese League Club Association. Their wealth of experience and insights provided invaluable guidance to the youth technicians.

The workshop focused on the pathways and strategies necessary for youth players to transition successfully into senior football.
Pedro Leitão Brito shared his experiences from coaching at the senior level, emphasising the importance of mental resilience, technical skills, and tactical awareness in young players. He noted that while talent is crucial, the right mindset and preparation are equally important for players aspiring to represent their countries at the highest level.
